Systems Engineer, Diagnostics & Maintenance of Digital Systems (m/f/d)

As System Engineer for Diagnostics & Maintenance of Digital Systems, you analyze vehicle diagnostic systems and integrate them into the E/E architecture. You develop diagnostic specifications for subassemblies and complete vehicle-level systems, and you assess fault effects across system boundaries. You will work with C4ISR devices, UDS standards, and diagnostic tools to support tendering, production, and service operations. You help drive reliability and maintainability by structured fault analysis and cross-team coordination.

• Analyze vehicle diagnostic systems and interfaces, and derive requirements for integration into E/E architecture
• Develop diagnostic specifications for subassemblies and complete vehicle systems based on Rh diagnostics and UDS
• Analyze data communication between assemblies and ECUs
• Integrate diagnostic capabilities of radio and communication systems (C4ISR) into the E/E architecture
• Perform fault tree analysis and root cause analysis using measurement/analysis tools (e.g., CANoe)
• Support tendering phases,-series production development, and coordinate with project management and expert teams
• Provide diagnostic support in vehicle production (EOL computers) and logistics (service computers)

• Experience with diagnosing vehicle electrical/electronic systems
• Knowledge of UDS standard and diagnostic concepts across multiple control units
• Ability to perform fault analysis from signal level to vehicle level
• Familiarity with measurement/analysis tools such as CANoe or equivalent
• Experience supporting tendering phases and production development
