Systems Engineer - Manufacturing & Transportation - Germany

In this role, you act as a technical advisor in Fortinet’s German sales unit, shaping security solutions for manufacturing and transportation customers. You translate complex challenges into clear Fortinet-based architectures and demonstrations, collaborating with sales, partners, and architects to drive adoption. You influence customer security strategies and accelerate deals through technical leadership. You’ll work with cutting-edge Security Fabric technology and enjoy strong regional and global support and development opportunities.

• Deliver engaging product demonstrations that highlight Fortinet technology
• Lead technical enablement sessions for partners (online and on-site)
• Plan and execute PoCs to prove technical viability and win trust
• Equip sales teams with up-to-date technical knowledge and competitive insights
• Collaborate with sales, partners, and internal stakeholders to build trusted customer relationships
• Influence customer security architectures and longer-term strategy using Fortinet solutions

• Hands-on networking and/or IT security experience
• Customer-facing ambition or pre-sales experience is a plus
• Fluency in German; strong English presentation skills
• Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
• Willingness to travel and engage with customers and partners
