Systems Engineer SAP BTP Administration (m/w/d)

In this role you act as BioNTech’s technical owner for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring secure, reliable operations and continuous improvement. You’ll oversee core BTP services and manage IAM integration, while supporting S/4HANA in the private cloud ECS. You collaborate with internal teams and external providers to maintain platform reliability and security across the SAP landscape. • Govern BTP accounts, entitlements and services (e.g., Integration Suite, Workzone) as the central technical owner
• Manage end-to-end user lifecycle via SAP Cloud Identity Services and support SailPoint IAM integration for secure role provisioning
• Monitor system health with SAP Cloud ALM; analyze alerts, incidents, and provide operational support for SAP Cloud Native landscapes
• Oversee AWS-related topics in SAP context (EC2/S3); coordinate connectivity solutions like Cloud Connector and Private Link
• Administer Build Process Automation and other BTP services; assist configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with S/4HANA
• Collaborate with SAP ECS for stable S/4HANA operations in the private cloud; handle service requests and change coordination

• >5 years of SAP Basis administration with proven BTP governance and S/4HANA operations in an ECS environment
• Solid knowledge of SAP Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), SSO concepts, and identity lifecycle management; SailPoint familiarity a plus
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM for monitoring and incident management
• Understanding of connectivity technologies (e.g., Cloud Connector) and AWS services (EC2/S3) in enterprise contexts
• Strong analytical skills and structured approach to solving complex technical challenges
• Completed vocational training in IT or higher education in Computer Science or a related field
