With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.Your Roledefine and further develop functional architectures for a sub-system of complex semiconductor systems for mask inspectionanalyze system requirements and derive technical specifications of modules belonging to image acquisition unit from themdevelop and evaluate models to validate concepts and architectures as well as integration and test strategies in consistent documentation;identify technical risks early and develop appropriate mitigation strategiesensure consistency and traceability of requirements throughout the entire development process and documentationcontribute to the definition of roadmaps for semiconductor technologies applicable to mask inspection toolsact as a technical leader and interface among hardware development teams, software teams and project management for both internal and suppliers teamsYour Profilea degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Systems Engineering, or a comparable field, ideally with a PhDstrong knowledge of technical error budgeting and systems engineering approach for semiconductor industry including integrated circuit design for camera sensorsexperience in defining and specifying sub-systems, modules and functional architectures in multidisciplinary context, working in cross-functional teams of complex projectstrack record knowledge of modeling complex systems (via MATLAB or similar tools)strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to several heterogenous stakeholders and interdisciplinary teamsvery good English and German language skillsYour ZEISS Recruiting Team:Janina Kalmbach
