Tax Analyst (m/w/d)

In this role you will own local and international tax topics for the MU DACH region, ensuring compliant and optimized tax processes within PepsiCo's Global Control Standards. You will manage statutory accounting, coordinate audits, and collaborate with external tax advisors. The position sits at the crossroad of tax, accounting, and business model changes, providing guidance and leading training on evolving tax legislation. • Post tax entries for US-GAAP and statutory purposes in SAP/HFM with reconciliations
• Own tax reporting process (US Tax package, FAS 109, Tax forecast/AOP, ETR, CoC)
• Oversee preparation of tax-related reporting and declarations (CBCR, IntraStat)
• Collaborate with Sector Tax and Reporting teams
• Ensure tax compliance across different business models
• Act as first point of contact for footprint design and reviews on new businesses/processes
• Support tax audits with documentation and presentation to auditors
• Ensure compliance with GCS/COSO/SOX within the function
• Coordinate with service providers (IBM, PwC, GT)
• Manage accuracy and timely completion of tax returns with tax advisors
• Provide training on tax legislation and business model changes
• Coordinate documentation of transfer pricing
• Ensure timely finalization of statutory accounts and co-ordination of statutory audits (KPMG)
• Define processes for books to support tax filings and audits
• Review accounting entries for US-GAAP and statutory correctness
• Collaborate with Reporting Manager on closing processes
• Provide coaching on accounting requirements to GBS and GFSS stakeholders
• Develop local GL Accountant

• 5+ years in accounting and tax
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and HGB
• Excellent VAT knowledge
• Industrial company processes familiarity, preferably FMCG
• Proven SAP and MS Excel proficiency
• Process-oriented mindset with ability to optimize procedures
• Excellent interpersonal communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Fluent in English and German
• Experience in a multinational environment is advantageous
