Tax Underwriter

As a Tax Underwriter, you will assess, structure and underwrite tax liability policies for cross-border M&A. You will work with brokers, advisors and deal teams across Europe, shaping tax risk coverage for high-value transactions. This role puts you at the intersection of tax expertise and underwriting, offering exposure to marquee international deals. You will lead underwriting projects and develop strong client and advisor relationships in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

• Assess and underwrite tax liability policies for complex cross-border transactions
• Review transaction documents, diligence reports and deal structures to identify risk
• Structure and place tax liability coverage with brokers and clients
• Lead underwriting projects and manage relationships with law firms and clients across Europe
• Collaborate with deal teams to support high-value M&A activity

• German qualified lawyer
• 3-8 years' PQE at a recognised international or leading domestic firm
• Strong corporate or M&A experience with tax aspects of transactions
• Proven track record in advising on cross-border deals
• Confident communicator capable of engaging with senior deal professionals
