What you do

As Team Lead Energy Supply, you own the end-to-end processes of our energy supply products – from pricing, via needed market communication up to long-term retention. You lead and develop a small team and continuously improve processes to ensure scalable, reliable, and customer-centric operations in a dynamic market environment. You act as a key interface between Operations, Product, Tech, Marketing & Sales, and external partners.

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Energy Supply team, fostering a hands-on, pragmatic, and collaborative culture
  • Own and continuously improve all operational processes across the customer lifecycle (onboarding, billing, service, retention)
  • Take ownership of operational excellence in market communication and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements of the German energy market
  • Establish and manage a KPI-driven Customer Success approach to increase customer lifetime value and reduce churn
  • Ensure efficient and scalable 1st and 2nd level support processes for both our B2C product (Beyond) and our white-label partner solutions
  • Act as the main operational counterpart for our white-label partners, ensuring high service quality
  • Drive continuous process improvements based on data, customer insights, and operational performance metrics
  • Ensure stable day-to-day operations while building scalable structures and automation
  • Own and steer price adjustments, contract renewals, and portfolio development from an operational perspective
  • Manage operational escalations and ensure fast, structured resolution across internal teams and external partners

Who you are

  • Several years of experience in the energy industry, ideally in operations, market communication, customer success, or energy product management
  • Solid understanding of the German energy market, including operational processes and regulatory requirements (e.g. market communication, GPKE processes, …)
  • Initial leadership experience or strong readiness to take ownership of a team
  • Strong analytical and structured mindset with experience in KPI-driven operations and performance management
  • Experience in building or improving operational processes in a dynamic, scaling environment
  • Confident in working with data and operational tools (e.g. CRM, ticketing systems, BI tools)
  • Experience managing external partners and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Calm, solution-oriented, and resilient personality, able to navigate ambiguity and operational pressure
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluent in German and English
