Team Lead (m/w/d) Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Excellence

Your mission

In this leadership role, you unlock strategically relevant partnerships with OEMs and other large industrial players, and build the commercial operating model that makes cylib's sourcing and sales organization more effective and scalable. You lead a team, set direction, and create the conditions for high performance:

• You lead, develop, and grow the partnerships and commercial excellence team – setting priorities, providing coaching, and creating clear ownership and accountability.
• You develop and own strategic partnerships relevant to cylib's battery feedstock access and offtake, with a particular focus on OEMs and related ecosystem partners.
• You identify and progress commercial opportunities connected to waste battery flows, including production scrap and end-of-life batteries, and broader value chain collaboration models.
• You support and lead the structure and continuous improvement of cylib's sourcing and sales processes – from pipeline governance and opportunity tracking to account planning, decision gates, and reporting.
• You work cross-functionally across the organization to align priorities and raise execution quality.
• You contribute directly to senior stakeholder engagement and strategic account development with high-priority partners.

Your profile

• You have several years of experience in strategic partnerships, key account management, business development, or sales, and you've worked with or within large industrial organizations, ideally including OEMs or Tier-1s.
• You have led teams before and know how to develop people, set direction, and build accountability, while staying hands-on enough to understand what the work actually requires.
• You bring enough battery industry context to build credible and sustainable partnerships based on trust and excellence.
• You have a proven track record of structuring and scaling commercial processes to improve execution.
• You are able to navigate cross-functional stakeholder environments and drive alignment across internal and external parties.
• You are proficient with standard CRM systems and use them to bring visibility and discipline to pipeline management.
• You combine strong commercial judgment with analytical and process-oriented thinking – you see both the deal and the system behind it.
• You communicate clearly and confidently with internal and external stakeholders, in both English and German; other languages are a strong plus.

• Depending on your qualifications and experience, your annual salary can be up to €90,000 to €115,000 gross.
