Teamlead Microsoft Azure & Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure(m/f/d)

As Head of IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services at Döhler’s Darmstadt site, you ensure reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise infrastructure across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments. You’ll oversee compute, storage, and virtualization, drive automation, and lead incident, change, and disaster recovery programs. Your leadership will align IT operations with security and architecture, delivering high availability and cost-conscious governance. This role offers a strategic, hands-on opportunity to shape the company’s digital backbone in a global nutrition business.

• Oversee stable, secure, and scalable hybrid infrastructure (data centers, Microsoft Azure, core services)
• Manage compute, storage, and virtualization with capacity planning and lifecycle standardization
• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability with regular testing
• Lead and optimize operations model including monitoring, incident/problem/change management
• Coordinate patching/maintenance with IT Security and IT Architecture to reduce risks
• Drive automation and self-service to improve quality, speed, and transparency
• Lead and develop the team and external partners; manage budget and stakeholder alignment

• Several years of leadership in IT infrastructure/platform operations (data center, virtualization, storage/compute)
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud; governance and FinOps understanding
• Proven backup/restore, disaster recovery, and high availability track record
• Hands-on ITSM experience (incident/problem/change); ITIL-aligned
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English
• Degree in (business) informatics or comparable qualification
