About the role

We're looking for a Tech Lead ML & Intelligent Automation who sits at the intersection of machine learning, intelligent automation, and real-world product delivery. You'll own the technical direction of our ML and automation efforts: defining architecture and standards, designing and delivering solutions, and making sure ML features reach customers.

You'll work in tandem with Product Management and Engineering, ensuring product ideas become real features, bringing experience with technical feasibility, trade-offs, and new technical advancements.

A good solution deployed today beats a perfect one that ships next quarter. You navigate the tension between rigor and pragmatism without losing either. You treat the Product Team relationship as a continuous dialogue, not a hand-off. You understand that the Tech Lead's job is to shape how the team builds, while also taking responsibility for it getting built and shipped.

Your Responsibilities:

• Drive end-to-end delivery of ML and automation solutions — from scoping and architecture through to production rollout and measurable business outcomes.
• Set the standard for building safe, reliable, and maintainable AI systems — including guardrails, observability, and responsible deployment practices.
• Work in tandem with Product Managers and Product Engineering teams to deliver ML and intelligent automation features within products.
• Coach and support junior ML engineers and data analysts, embedding best practices and helping colleagues grow their technical maturity.
• Own and evolve the team's automation capabilities, identifying repetitive workflows and turning them into robust, maintainable scripts and pipelines.

Your Energy

• Proven AI/ML delivery: You have designed and shipped AI solutions that produced measurable business value and know how to move solutions from prototype to production.
• Safety and reliability focus: You have experience making AI and ML systems safe, reliable, tested, and observable.
• Python proficiency: Strong Python proficiency across the ML and automation stack. You are comfortable writing production-grade code.
• Automation experience: Experience building and shipping automation scripts that are robust and maintainable in production.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Team lead experience, including mentoring junior engineers, delegating work, and creating an environment where the team ships and grows together.
