Technical Account Director (f/m/d)

In this role you act as the technical counterpart to the Global Account Director, driving deep technical engagement with customers and shaping solution strategy. You will lead cross-functional pursuit efforts, align product roadmaps with OEM needs, and drive gap closure from pre-engagement through RFQ. You partner with global product and engineering to deliver differentiated, timely platforms and secure customer wins. • Be the technical twin of the Global Account Director in all customer activities
• Manage customer engineering relations, involve early in market differentiation and develop a customer relationship plan
• Lead pursuit technical decisions and present to top management, explaining tech challenges and gap closure plans
• Drive inputs to global product organization by defining skeleton and architecture to meet customer expectations and GTM needs
• Act as the customer voice and collaborate with global product organization for platform usage and pursuit alignment
• Collaborate with global engineering to ensure proper staffing and early involvement
• Develop and drive technical pursuit plan from Pre-Engagement to RFQ
• Lead customer feedback sessions and closure confirmation
• Consolidate cross-product OEM needs to identify product/business opportunities
• Pre-Engagement: consolidate prelim solution inputs, USPs, align solution to roadmap
• RFI Phase: control customer wishlist impact and lead cross-functional technical delivery
• RFQ phase: define direction and concept, align with roadmap, consolidate deliverables
• Deliver platform deviation plan and ensure quality/timing of deliveries
• Reflect on lessons learned across pursuit teams
• Work with GAD on pursuit strategy and competitive offers
• Do the right product at the right time and drive reuse across OEMs

• More than 10 years of experience in the automotive industry in a technical management or customer solution role
