Technical Account Manager, ES-EMEA-SMB

In this role you act as a trusted advisor and cloud operations architect for Enterprise Support customers, shaping cloud adoption and ensuring operational health. You will craft strategies, provide technical guidance, and work with cross-functional teams to align AWS capabilities with customer needs. You’ll drive value by reducing complexity and enabling customers to scale with AWS. • Build solutions and advocate for customers with technical guidance
• Keep customer AWS environments operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
• Develop trusting relationships by understanding business needs and technical challenges
• Lead technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management
• Consult with developers through to C-suite executives
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
• Proactively identify opportunities for additional value from AWS
• Solve problems across different customers migrating workloads to the cloud
• Deliver enablement sessions and workshops to uplift customer capabilities

• Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting in distributed systems environments (compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data/security/applications)
• Experience in hands-on technical engineering
• Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and external customers
• German language proficiency (preferred)
• Track record in influencing management in technical, operational and strategic decisions
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings (preferred)
