Overview

In this role you drive the adoption of MATLAB and Simulink for Europe’s leading Tier1 automotive manufacturers. You act as a trusted technical advisor, coordinating MathWorks engineering resources to deliver value and sustained satisfaction. You influence automotive technology development at scale, across controls, simulation, and advanced analytics, with impact on electrification, ADAS/AD, and connected platforms. This position offers cross-functional collaboration, hands-on engagements, and opportunities to shape MBSE and toolchain adoption in a fast-moving market.

Verantwortungsbereiche
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, leading engagements and coordinating cross-functional MathWorks resources
  • Shape automotive technology development and influence engineering decisions across global OEMs
  • Gain exposure to controls, simulation, ML, thermal/electrical modeling, and automated driving
  • Accelerate adoption of MATLAB and Simulink by leading MB Design, system simulation, embedded controls, and V&V workflows
  • Improve customer development processes, including model architectures, large-scale simulation, and enterprise toolchain integration
  • Drive organization-wide deployment of MathWorks technologies across programs and departments
  • Develop trusted, long-term relationships with engineering, R&D, simulation, validation, and software teams
  • Align MathWorks solutions with customer strategies in electrification, autonomy, safety, and connectivity
  • Represent Tier1 needs to MathWorks on product roadmaps (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR, MBSE)
  • Lead cross-functional account strategy execution with Application Engineering, Consulting, Training, Sales, and Marketing
  • Deliver technical workshops, hands-on engagements, and executive sessions to ensure ongoing support across the product lifecycle
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated automotive industry experience
  • Expertise in automotive engineering (embedded controls, powertrain, electrification, ADAS/AD, system modeling or simulation)
  • Deep proficiency with MATLAB & Simulink or strong MBSE/tool-based background
  • Ability to engage with engineering leadership and communicate complex technical solutions
  • Experience in customer success and building long-term technical partnerships
  • Understanding of MB Design workflows and automotive toolchains
  • Experience identifying opportunities for application growth and upselling services
