Technical Architect (Murex) - Specialist - Financial Services

  • Job ID:

Leverage in‑depth expertise in the Murex, with hands‑on experience across key modules and functionalities, to support the design and delivery of robust solutions. Apply a strong understanding of end‑to‑end functional processes within banks and asset management organizations, including the interdependencies and interactions between front‑office, risk, finance, and operations streams, to ensure coherent and scalable solution design.

Lead and facilitate design and show‑and‑tell sessions with business stakeholders, technical teams, and Murex specialists, translating complex requirements into clear functional and technical concepts, aligning expectations, and driving discussions toward well‑structured and implementable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute beyond individual modules by supporting the overall design and integrity of the Murex application landscape.
  • Drive the selection of technologies and architectural approaches to ensure optimal, scalable, and client‑specific Murex setups.
  • Operate effectively in a complex front‑to‑back environment, managing multiple priorities and taking ownership of tasks through to completion, while supporting distributed platform teams across locations.
  • Act as a technical lead by designing and delivering cross‑framework integration solutions and contributing to consolidation programs, supported by detailed Technical Design Documents.
  • Translate solution concepts from test‑driven development (TDD) into low‑level designs (LLD) and support development activities within agile delivery frameworks.
  • Support go‑live planning and execution, including structured change management and test planning, as well as post‑go‑live stabilization and support.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient collaboration across global development teams and supporting timely release delivery.
  • Drive continuous innovation by automating release‑related activities and improving delivery efficiency.
  • Define, document, and maintain operating procedures, ensuring alignment with relevant controls and compliance with group and local policies.
  • Establish and take ownership of governance structures for identifying, assessing, and managing risks.
