Technical Lead - Robotics & Automation

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive the deployment, testing, and launch of next-generation robotics, automation, and autonomous systems within large-scale operational environments. This is a hands-on leadership role at the intersection of Robotics Engineering, Industrial Automation, System Integration, and Operations Excellence .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead onsite deployment, commissioning, and launch activities for robotics and automation solutions.
• Coordinate field engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Execute testing, validation, and operational readiness activities for robotic systems.
• Manage firmware updates, hardware deployments, system imaging, and feature releases.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, quality standards, and deployment processes.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and escalations to stakeholders and program leadership.
• Support operational teams through technical training, coaching, and knowledge transfer.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience leading technical deployments, system implementation, or product launches.
• Strong knowledge of robotics systems, hardware integration, firmware deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with autonomous systems, industrial automation, or advanced technology solutions.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in Robotics, Automation, Manufacturing, Logistics, Automotive, Semiconductor, or Industrial Engineering environments.
• Experience with AMRs, AGVs, Machine Vision, IoT, Smart Manufacturing, or Automated Fulfilment Systems .
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects under tight timelines.
