Technical Manager - Azure DevOps

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. This role blends hands‑on engineering with strategic leadership. The successful candidate will architect and implement our DevOps strategy on the Azure platform, guide a team of engineers, and ensure the continuous delivery of high‑quality software and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers.
Design, develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates.
Enforce security best practices across the infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate solutions.
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot complex issues in production and pre‑production environments.
Work in a flexible hybrid or remote setting.

Required Qualifications

7+ years of experience in DevOps or a related role.
At least 2 years in a leadership or technical lead capacity.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Extensive experience with Azure services (VMs, AKS, App Services, Functions, SQL/Cosmos DB).
Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform and ARM.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
Hands‑on experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Expertise in Git and repository management.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
