Technical Operations Manager - Wind Turbines | Berlin

Amber Renewables is looking for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of wind turbines. This is a hands‑on role ensuring high production availability, optimising performance, and driving continuous improvement across multiple wind farms.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute O&M contracts, including documentation and maintenance strategies
• Ensure high production availability and optimise technical and financial results
• Manage turbine logbooks and technical reporting (e.g., WindLog software)
• Perform performance monitoring, fault analysis, and technical assessments
• Prepare reports and analyse data to implement operational improvements
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of availability deviations
• Manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Perform regular turbine inspections

Your Profile

• Experienced professional, ideally with an electrical or technical engineering background
• Hands‑on experience in wind energy operations and maintenance
• 5+ years of experience, ideally in the wind energy sector
• Proven technical management experience
• Strong technical and digital skills
• Fluent in German and good command of English
• Office: Berlin (Hybrid)
