Technical Product Manager - Geospatial Data APIs

Overview

In this Technical Product Manager role, you own the roadmap and execution for geospatial data APIs, SDKs, and developer integrations within Trimble Field Systems. You collaborate with engineering to ensure secure, scalable, high-performance API ecosystems that serve geospatial and reality capture workflows. You’ll drive onboarding and documentation to empower internal and external developers, and mentor teams on API design and developer experience. This is a hands-on role that balances technical excellence with product management to shape impactful geospatial platforms.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Own the roadmap for a suite of enterprise APIs, SDKs, and developer integration tools for Geospatial data workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high performance, security, scalability, and robust architecture across platform services
Drive developer onboarding success by building documentation, support resources, and unified processes across platform ecosystems
Partner with software developers and stakeholders to capture requirements, analyze product usage metrics, and enhance integration features
Establish technical standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members on developer experience and API design best practices

Zentrale Anforderungen

C1 level English and fluency in the local language (Germany or Lithuanian)
Degree in a technical field such as engineering or geospatial science
Direct experience with reality capture, geospatial, or geodetic data formats
Strong programming foundation in Python, Java, or C#, and knowledge of RESTful API design
Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Passion for technology and staying current with industry trends
