Technical Product Owner – AI & Automation

Responsibilities

• Bring AI into our projects and to our clients
• Engage in sparring with our POs and project managers on: What is possible with AI for this client?
• Realistically assess feasibility, effort and business value
• Build your own prototypes with LLMs, RAG, agent workflows and automation tools
• Set up bespoke chatbots for client projects
• Expand AI expertise within the team: tools, processes, standards
• Transfer knowledge step by step to our POs and developers
• Establish best practices and evaluation frameworks for use-case decisions

Qualifications

• A demonstrably long-standing, deep technical foundation: you have developed software yourself and/or architected systems.
• Several years of experience as a Product Owner, technical project manager, consultant or senior developer with client contact, ideally in a digital or agency environment
• Solid understanding of modern web architectures: API-first, headless, REST/webhooks, integrations with CMS, CRM and ERP
• Python or TypeScript at a productive level; you build prototypes yourself
• Practical AI experience: LLMs, prompting and context engineering, RAG, automation tools
• Agile methods from practice, not from the textbook
• Translate technology into business value—for decision makers at the client as well as for developers
• Proactive: you don't wait for tasks, you take them
• Creative in generating use cases and see opportunities where others say "that won't work"
• Sense of reality: the best use case is not the most spectacular, but one that delivers value
• Enjoy working in a sparring mode: bringing ideas, discarding them, rethinking
