Technical Project Engineer, Laboratory Systems & Interfaces

As a Technical Project Engineer at Clinisys, you implement and integrate laboratory solutions, connecting instruments and systems within customer IT environments. You will design, test, and validate interfaces, manage technical workstreams, and create documentation for handovers and upgrades. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve connectivity and data-flow issues and support project planning. This role sits at the heart of enabling AI-enabled diagnostic workflows at scale, helping laboratories operate more efficiently and deliver meaningful insights.

• Design, configure, and test interfaces between lab systems, analyzers, instruments, devices and external apps
• Lead technical implementation tasks including systems analysis, data architecture, integration workshops and validation support
• Diagnose connectivity and data-flow issues; coordinate solutions with customers and Development
• Manage technical workstreams or small integration projects per project plans and budgets
• Produce technical documentation and deliver customer handovers, training, updates and upgrades
• Support Project Management, Customer Services, Support and Sales with technical analysis and implementation planning

• Degree, vocational qualification or equivalent professional experience in IT, software engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline
• Programming or scripting experience related to system interfaces, data exchange, or application integration
• Experience connecting software platforms, laboratory instruments, analysers or other devices
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, ASTM or IHE
• Understanding of operating systems, networking and virtualised environments; LIS/LIMS knowledge beneficial
• Fluent German and professional English proficiency
