Overview

As a Technical Purchaser, you ensure cost-effective, high-quality procurement of mechanical, optical, and optoelectronic components. You will select and develop suppliers, manage quotes, and negotiate terms to align with production needs. You’ll work closely with design, planning, production, and QA to optimize delivery, cost, and quality. This role offers hands-on procurement with room for process improvements in a technology-driven, owner-managed company. You’ll contribute to a modern, collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Verantwortungsbereiche

Technical procurement of mechanical, optical, and optoelectronic components and related materials
Supplier selection, evaluation, and development
Requesting, comparing, and evaluating quotes
Price, framework, and contract negotiations
Processing purchase orders and finalizing contracts
Monitoring delivery, quality, and costs
Identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing processes
Maintaining material master data and purchasing documentation in ERP
Collaborating with design, work planning, production, and quality assurance

Zentrale Anforderungen

Completed technical training with additional purchasing or business administration certification or comparable qualification
Professional experience in technical purchasing
Strong business and technical knowledge
Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and address quality issues
Practical experience dealing with suppliers and contract manufacturers
Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
German and English proficiency
Independent, structured, solution-oriented approach with hands-on mindset
Team-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills
