Your Responsibilties



  • Work closely with Sales Managers to secure electrolysis plant supply contracts for complex and high-value business opportunities.

  • Analyze customer RFIs and RFQs and develop tailored solutions based on Quest One\'s products and services.

  • Review customer technical specifications, initiate deviation lists, and lead technical clarification discussions with customers and EPC partners.

  • Lead and coordinate the bid management process, including governance gates and Large Project Approval (LPA), while driving continuous process improvements.

  • Utilize and optimize key tools such as Salesforce, SAP and LCOH models to support commercial activities and decision-making.

  • Coordinate cross-functional bid support from Project Application Engineering, Costing, Product Management, Legal and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment, progress and adherence to deadlines.

  • Prepare high-quality commercial and technical proposals independently, documenting assumptions, cost calculations, guarantees and key inputs.

  • Manage bid timelines and ensure accurate and timely submission of proposals.

  • Present proposals and bid strategies to customers in collaboration with Sales Managers.

  • Support and participate in commercial negotiations with customers and partners to successfully close transactions.

  • Lead the project handover process to the Project Execution team upon contract award.

  • Conduct post-bid reviews with Sales and relevant functions to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.


What You Bring



  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Engineering or a similar field.

  • Several years of experience with large industrial process plants in plant design and/or EPC project execution, preferably within the renewable energy or industrial gases sectors.

  • Proven technical, commercial and contractual expertise.

  • Experience as a Technical Sales Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Application Engineer or Sales Project Manager.

  • Knowledge of hydrogen markets and applications or a strong interest in hydrogen energy.

  • Cross-cultural competence and experience working in international environments.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Proactive, self-driven and capable of working autonomously and responsibly.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Business-fluent English (C1/C2); German and/or a Nordic language are considered an advantage.
