Technical Service Manager, Pharmaceuticals

As Technical Service Manager, you will lead the technical focus for pharma product platforms and guide customers in choosing Sensient’s portfolio. You coordinate internal activities to drive application and new product development projects, including prototyping to meet customer specifications. You will act as a technical SME, translating complex content for diverse audiences and supporting cross-functional training. This role offers meaningful impact through evolving pharma platforms and collaboration with global teams.

• Serve as technical SME for pharma product platforms for assigned accounts
• Guide customers in selection and use of Sensient's portfolio
• Translate technical content for diverse audiences to drive projects
• Develop proficiency with application lab equipment and methodologies; manage day-to-day operations
• Lead application and development projects; present technical information for trainings
• Identify modified or new product opportunities based on customer needs
• Participate in Stage Gate process for new product development and raw material evaluation
• Develop in-depth knowledge of pharma industry segments, trends, customers and competitors

• University degree in a related scientific discipline (Food Science, Process/Chemical/Food Engineering) required
• Masters or PhD preferred
• Solid experience in analytical or application lab in a customer-facing environment
• Strong time management and task prioritization with business impact
• Analytical thinking with creative problem-solving; excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% with flexibility for short-notice trips
