Responsibilities

• Performs routine tests on customer products and laboratory analyses in accordance with company and client standards.
• Performs calibrations and maintains calibration databases in accordance with best quality control practices.
• Maintains complete and accurate records of lab data; investigates possible trends and communicates observations to the team.
• Performs routine housekeeping including cleaning of equipment and lab areas.
• Performs any troubleshooting or reasonable repairs to instrumentation.
• Demonstrates safe work practices in accordance with laboratory and company policies.
• Coordinates testing procedures and schedules analyses on a weekly basis to ensure sample processing efficiency.
• Reports test results and describes procedures used.
• Maintains quality control for the tests being performed.
• Supervises and trains lab technicians and manages resources for the chemical analysis team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

3‑5 years of professional experience in a related area.
