Technical Writer / ISO Certification Management Representative (m/f/d)

For the Sonplas Group, we’re looking for a dedicated individual to fill a combined role as a technical writer and management representative. In this role, you’ll oversee our ISO management systems, coordinate audits, and be responsible for internal systems related to process and knowledge documentation.

Your Responsibilities as a Technical Writer

• You will create, maintain, and update technical documentation for our machines and systems, particularly operating manuals and purchased parts documentation.
• You will present complex technical content in a clear, structured manner tailored to the target audience—including operators, maintenance personnel, customers, and internal departments.
• You’ll work closely with design, electrical engineering, software, assembly, service, project management, and quality to ensure that technical content is documented accurately and completely.
• You will research technical details directly on the machine, in technical drawings, circuit diagrams, bill of materials, and through discussions with the relevant departments.
• When creating documentation, you take into account fundamental CE requirements, safety-related notes, and requirements for technical documentation.

Your Responsibilities as a Management System Representative

• You will also assume the role of management representative for the Sonplas Group’s relevant management systems.
• You will maintain and further develop the existing ISO certifications:
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001
• You will plan, coordinate, and oversee internal and external audits, as well as certification and surveillance audits.
• You will coordinate related sustainability topics such as CDP, EcoVadis, ESG-related customer inquiries, and supplier information.
• You will manage internal systems for process and knowledge documentation and ensure that relevant information is available in a current, structured, and traceable manner.

• You have completed technical, commercial, or business administration training, a college degree, or a comparable qualification.
• You have experience in technical writing, process documentation, quality management, or integrated management systems.
• You have a good understanding of technical and organizational processes and can present complex content in a clear and structured manner.
• Ideally, you are familiar with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001; knowledge of ISO 50001 is a plus.
• Experience with audits, management system documentation, or internal documentation systems is desirable.
• Some familiarity with CDP, EcoVadis, or sustainability topics is a plus.
• You work independently, meticulously, and with a focus on solutions.
• You communicate confidently with various departments and drive issues forward in a collaborative manner.
• You have good written and spoken German and English skills.
