Your Tasks

  • Develop the end-to-end overall schedule during the offer phase (OTO) for new-build and modernization projects by integrating inputs from all relevant functions, units, and third parties.
  • Define the underlying planning logic of the project time schedule, including whether the schedule structure should be primarily driven by engineering or site activities.
  • Collect, clarify, and consolidate schedule-relevant inputs such as project framework conditions, key dates, scope of supply, engineering sequences, sourcing scenarios, logistics assumptions, installation concepts, and commissioning requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with OPM, Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Transport, Installation, Commissioning, and other relevant stakeholders to establish a consistent and feasible overall schedule.
  • Clarify technical dependencies, durations, and sequencing for System Engineering and Component Engineering activities in coordination with the relevant engineering functions and integrate them into the overall schedule.
  • Incorporate contractual customer approval processes, milestone structures, and schedule-related contractual requirements into the overall schedule.
  • Assess sourcing strategies, countries of origin, procurement / manufacturing durations, transport concepts, and pre-assembly / factory assembly assumptions from a scheduling perspective.
  • Ensure that all relevant interfaces with customers, consortium partners, other OUs, sub-suppliers, and external parties are reflected appropriately in the overall schedule.
  • Perform schedule analyses, including critical path, multiple critical paths, and near-critical paths, in order to identify key risks and opportunities during the offer phase.
  • Prepare alternative overall schedules, scenarios, and planning options to support offer strategy, feasibility assessment, and internal decision-making.
  • Review schedule quality in line with the DCMA 14 Point Assessment criteria.
  • Support and coordinate internal schedule alignment and review processes, including participation in Design Freeze 0 (DF0) and preparation / coordination of the OTO SFAC (Schedule Freeze Acceptance Certificate).
  • Update and revise the overall schedule during the negotiation phase in the event of customer changes or revised project assumptions.
  • Ensure a structured handover of the overall schedule from OTO to OTC once the order is received.

Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering, project management, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls, ideally in complex technical project environments.
  • Solid experience in developing and coordinating overall schedules in multidisciplinary project environments.
  • Strong understanding of planning and schedule control principles, including WBS, critical path methodology, float logic, progress measurement, and interface management.
  • Experience with planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Ability to collect, structure, assess, and consolidate inputs from multiple specialist functions into one coherent planning logic.
  • Good understanding of engineering, procurement / manufacturing, transport, installation, and commissioning interfaces within complex project schedules.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational interfaces.
  • Analytical thinking, a structured working style, sound judgment, and the ability to challenge assumptions and identify inconsistencies in available data.
  • Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to support decision-making in a transparent and fact-based manner.
  • Experience in hydro, energy, plant engineering, or other large-scale industrial project environments is an advantage.

We offer you an international working environment with an open and inclusive company culture. In addition, you can expect flexible working models, sustainable development opportunities and various offers for the compatibility of family and career as well as health and well-being.
