What you can achieve with us

As a Test Manager in the eAkte Competence Center, you will be responsible for systematically ensuring the quality of the citywide eAkte system. You will define the test strategy and plan its implementation. You will coordinate the creation of test cases, the execution of test activities, and bug fixing in collaboration with IT service providers. In addition, you will establish a transparent reporting system on the status of quality assurance measures and their results. As a Test Manager, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes as well as to the effective and efficient use of the test tools employed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • A successfully completed college degree in computer science, administrative informatics, or business informatics, or
  • A successfully completed college degree or equivalent skills and experience

and

  • extensive (at least three years) professional experience in the IT field

What We Value

  • Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of test management, particularly in the planning, execution, and evaluation of software tests in complex IT projects, as well as experience with common testing methods—including agile methods—and testing tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, SoapUI, and Apache JMeter).
  • Results- and goal-oriented
  • Communication skills, particularly the ability to convey information effectively
  • The following are considered an advantage: certifications such as ISTQB and Scrum, as well as knowledge of document management systems or electronic records solutions (eAkte)
