Testing Operator - Space Hardware Testing (all genders)

Stellenbeschreibung:

The Why

We build pressure vessels and carbon structures for spaceflight. Before our hardware flies, it gets tested — and you keep the testing running. Without you, the test bench stands still.

Your Responsibilities

You prepare tests, help run them, and document the results. You work in the lab and at the test bench — hands‑on, in a team, with real space hardware every day.

  • Prepare and post‑process the testing areas: set up test benches and specimens, tear down after tests, and keep the testing area ready for action.
  • Run and document tests: support destructive testing and acceptance testing (NDT) and record every step cleanly.
  • Say what you see: report anything unusual about a specimen, the test bench, or a result right away.
  • Support the team and infrastructure: pitch in where needed — in the testing team and with technical infrastructure on site.
  • Learn new things: NDT methods, new test procedures, new materials — you want to grow. We'll train you.

Your Profile

  • Training: Completed vocational training as a materials tester / Werkstoffprüfer (plastics, metals, or fiber composites/CFRP) or comparable technical training.
  • Experience: First experience in a test lab or materials testing is a plus — not a must. What matters more: you want to learn.
  • Work style: Motivated, reliable, hands‑on. You want the job done — and done right.
  • Team player: You enjoy working with others and help out when things get busy.
  • Languages: German and English, each at B2 minimum — one of the two confident for daily work.
  • On‑site: This role is 100% on‑site in Taufkirchen. The lab and test bench don't fit in a home office.

What We Offer

  • 30 days of paid vacation – plenty of time to recharge.
  • No nightsshifts or weekend duty — we care for your work‑life balance.
  • Free lunch & drinks – freshly prepared on site every day.
  • Work clothes provided — no need to bring your own gear.
  • Secure job with real responsibility — we rely on you.
  • Easy to reach & mobility support — e.g. with the Deutschlandticket.
  • A strong team — supportive, open and international.
  • Regular team events — from BBQs to pizza nights.
