Thermal Engineer (all genders)

In this Thermal Engineer role you will shape the thermal performance of Reflex Aerospace’s satellites. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to define top-level thermal design and requirements, ensuring components stay within temperature limits over the mission lifecycle. You will develop thermal models, run analyses, and support thermal-vacuum testing to validate performance. You’ll advise hardware teams on material choices and design decisions, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. • Analyze, size conceptually and design the thermal control system
• Develop thermal models and conduct analyses to predict satellite thermal performance
• Support thermal and thermal-vacuum testing of satellites and sub-systems
• Consult hardware developers on design decisions and material selection
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications and test reports
• Manage thermal interfaces with external vendors and partners

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing
• Knowledge of satellite design and lifecycle of subsystems
• Proficiency in thermal modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Simcenter 3D)
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills in English
