Purpose of the position

This position will be part of the Group Total Rewards team and will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing global rewards programmes, policies and processes in‑line with the company objectives and business needs. As a Centre of Excellence, this role partners with Business Partners and other CoEs and acts as an advisor and consultant on the delivery of Global Compensation & Benefits programmes and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the design and implementation of global rewards programmes such as annual salary review and annual incentive programmes and grading to attract and retain top talent.
• Identify and drive standardisation and process improvements including digitisation of processes such as implementation of the annual salary review process in SuccessFactors.
• Design global frameworks to drive compliance agenda in the area of compensation such as EU Pay Transparency.
• Collaborate with P&O Business Partners to understand business needs and provide guidance around pay competitiveness, best practices and benchmarks.
• Contribute towards building total rewards capability globally within P&O.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6–8 years of relevant experience in Total Rewards, preferably in a multi‑country international setup.
• Good understanding of global compensation and benefits best practices, principles and trends.
• Proficiency in or knowledge of compensation & benefits job evaluation methodology and surveys such as Mercer, WTW or Korn‑Flyer frameworks.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a multi‑country and cross‑functional setup.
• Experience in Rewards consulting is an advantage.
• Strong project management skills in a cross‑functional project setup.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail.
