Trade Floor Support

Overview

Ubique Systems is seeking junior professionals to join our Trade Floor Support team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience, preferably in End-User Computing (EUC) or IT support, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment. Strong communication skills in German (B2 level or above) are required to interact effectively with traders and business users.

Responsibilities

Provide first-line support to traders and business users on the trade floor.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to end-user computing (EUC), including desktops, laptops, VDI, printers, and applications.
Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate second/third-line teams.
Ensure minimal downtime and quick response to user requests, following ITIL best practices.
Support business-critical applications and coordinate with vendors/teams for incident resolution.
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, requests, and resolutions.
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

1–2 years of experience in IT support, service desk, or end-user computing (EUC).
Hands-on experience with Windows desktop environment, MS Office Suite, Outlook, and trade floor tools.
Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi).
Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, Remedy, etc.).
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trade floor environment.
Strong German communication skills (B2 level or higher), with good English proficiency.

Nice-to-Have

Prior experience working in financial services / banking / trading environments.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Familiarity with market data applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
