Your mission

As a Trade Marketeer, it is your mission to drive the strategic direction and execution of trade marketing initiatives at the local level, ensuring alignment with overarching European objectives and commercial success. This involves overseeing local projects to ensure they are executed effectively. Ultimately, the mission is to elevate the brand's presence in the market, optimize consumer engagement, and drive business growth through innovative marketing strategies and effective execution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the execution of the complete local campaign cycle for both major and minor product launches as well as other trade projects such as fairs and events.
• Responsible for the implementation of local strategies and tone of voice with overarching European objectives, ensuring coherence and consistency across regions, maximizing local in-store performance, brand visibility, and commercial success.
• Lead the evaluation of activities' effectiveness and present findings to senior management, guiding optimization efforts towards consumer-centric approaches, enhanced commercial performance, and lead generation.
• Manage high-level stakeholder relationships both internal and external to drive collaboration and support for local projects.
• Attend retail meetings together with the sales team to provide support from a Trade Marketing perspective.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with our retail partners, developing and executing integrated online and offline marketing plans to optimize brand presence and performance.

Your profile

• Completed your bachelor’s or master’s degree in the field of Marketing, Sales, Communication, or related.
• You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role and experience in an international matrix organization.
• A commercial mindset with a good understanding of marketing and sales strategies.
• You possess good project management skills and are ready to get things done in a continuously changing environment.
• Proven interpersonal skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

What We Offer

• A yearly salary starting from 48K based on your experience level and knowledge, with room to grow.
• This is a 39‑hour full-time role, with the possibility to work part‑time (minimum four days per week).
• You will receive a permanent contract with a 6-month probation period.
• You are eligible for a 13th month and holiday allowance every year.
• The option to work hybrid with 2 days on-site in Cologne.
• The annual leave entitlements consist of 27 vacation days in the case of full-time employment.
