Trade & Working Capital Finance Origination

Our client is one of Europe’s ten largest banks by market capitalisation and operates in almost 50 countries worldwide.

The bank is looking for an experienced professional in Trade and Working Capital Finance to further expand its local origination team (focused on German/Austria corporates) in Frankfurt.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the management of a client portfolio of multinational German and Austrian corporate clients (DAX & equivalent)
• Origination of trade finance and receivables & supply chain finance transactions, with involvement across the entire value chain including structuring and implementation
• Preparation and negotiation of offers, contracts and agreements in close coordination with internal and external lawyers and other key internal stakeholders
• Liaising with back and middle offices for efficient and proper processing and execution of transactions to ensure comprehensive and swift client service
• Identify market trends in terms of product solutions and client needs that contribute to the expansion of the bank's existing business activities and the continuous improvement of existing solutions and capabilities

Professional Experience & Education

• Several years of experience in the origination and client advisory of trade finance and working capital solutions; focus on documentary trade finance business desirable
• Solid understanding of both bank-internal business processes as well as client needs in order to manage and develop a portfolio of demanding corporate clients
• Sound command of credit analysis in order to interact with coverage and the risk department on “eye-level” and to ensure efficient preparation of relevant committee materials
• Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Fluency in English and in German mandatory; additional languages desirable
