Transaction Assurance Manager (f/m/d)

Do you want to help create the future of healthcare? Siemens Healthineers seeks a Manager (f/m/d) in the Transaction Assurance department to support the financial workstream in large and complex M&A projects globally and contribute to Siemens Healthineers’ growth strategy.

Work Arrangement

Within the scope of this position, working mobile (within Germany) is possible in consultation with the manager, up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Responsibilities

• Provide focused financial advice to the Siemens Healthineers managing board.
• Perform financial due diligence and valuation services.
• Advise on and negotiate relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustment mechanisms and closing balance sheet provisions with target companies’ management / advisors.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of business plans and profitability calculations.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all financial impacts and risks are assessed.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with other divisions globally (M&A, Legal, Accounting & Controlling, Business Areas).
• Promote and drive digitalization within the Transaction Assurance department.
• Manage and direct external financial advisors (up to 10 consultants) on a project‑by‑project basis.
• Work on additional challenging engagements within the Assurance team to broaden experience.

Qualifications

• Above‑average academic history and career progression.
• University degree (Master or PhD) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
• Many years of professional experience as an M&A / Financial Due Diligence advisor (e.g., from a Big 4 company) or relevant experience in Controlling, Private Equity or Investment Banking.
• Detailed knowledge of M&A contracts, purchase price mechanisms and experience defining these with legal advisors.
• Good knowledge of IFRS; CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA qualification is an advantage.
• Experience working in an international business setting and passion for diverse teams with strong intercultural sensitivity.
