Transaction Manager – Loan Agency

Manage the full lifecycle of loan transactions as agent, from financing through full repayment
Review and negotiate various financing and security agreements in collaboration with internal and external legal counsel
Coordinate the end-to-end transaction closing process with internal teams and external parties
Manage the funding process for new loan transactions or bond issuances as agent, including reviewing payment structures
Assess mechanisms for transitioning to risk-free rates (RFRs)
Process and execute utilisation requests
Manage and coordinate waiver and consent requests in accordance with the loan agreement
Support loan repayments, refinancings, restructurings, extensions, and insolvency proceedings
Monitor covenants and margin adjustments
Process and coordinate corporate actions
Independently manage a portfolio of loan transactions
Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers, lenders, and advisers on non-operational matters
Attend industry events and build and maintain a network of banks, investment banks, debt and equity funds, sponsors, law firms, and advisers
Work closely with the Transaction Management team in London

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
Solution-oriented, hands-on mentality
Commitment to continuous professional development
Actively follow current developments and trends in the financing market, as well as regulatory changes
Experience in capital markets is advantageous but not required
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Flexibility and adaptability in a growing company
Confident demeanour and professional representation of GLAS to internal and external stakeholders
