Transformation Lead

Lead the transformation and migration of ETL workloads from Informatica PowerCenter to Azure Data Factory (ADF) for Allianz Global Investors (AGI). Act as the primary client-facing lead, managing multiple releases, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining the highest quality standards across all ETL deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Informatica-to-ADF migration and modernization initiatives.
2. Design, review, and oversee development of ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Database.
3. Manage multiple releases, ensuring timely and quality delivery to AGI stakeholders.
4. Act as the primary client-facing lead for engagements, driving stakeholder communication and status reporting.
5. Coordinate with business, ETL, testing, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth project execution.
6. Review technical designs, mappings, transformations, and ETL code for quality and adherence to standards.
7. Drive estimation, planning, risk management, and dependency tracking for migration workstreams.
8. Ensure successful SIT, UAT, and production deployments with minimal business disruption.
9. Mentor ETL developers and establish best practices for Azure Data Factory development.
10. Support solutioning and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ETL performance, reusability, and maintainability.
