Transport Planner

• Plan and coordinate truck transportation to ensure on-time deliveries


• Dispatch drivers and vehicles and optimize fleet utilization


• Select cost-effective, time-efficient transport routes and optimize routing


• Monitor transport operations and respond flexibly to short-notice changes or disruptions


• Communicate with drivers, customers, internal departments such as Customer Service, and external service providers


• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, occupational health and safety regulations, and driving and rest-time regulations

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services Clerk or a comparable qualification


• Experience in dispatching full truckload (FTL) transportation


• A high degree of initiative and self-motivation


• Strong communication skills


• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken


• Basic knowledge of customs procedures is desirable but not essential


• Team spirit, ambition, and a strong customer focus


• Good working knowledge of MS Office
