Treasury Accounting & Controls Specialist

In this role within ABB Robotics, you’ll own treasury accounting and month-end close to ensure accurate financial reporting. You’ll align treasury data across Kyriba, SAP, and other systems, strengthening controls as ABB Robotics moves toward standalone operation. You’ll help design and improve the treasury operating model and data flows, embracing automation and analytics. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on financial integrity and transformation.

• Own treasury accounting and month-end close to ensure accurate reporting
• Reconcile treasury entries and balances across Kyriba, SAP, and other systems, and support pre-/post-close checks
• Manage treasury data and accounting setup in Kyriba (banks, cash pools, loans, FX forwards/swaps, investments, guarantees)
• Strengthen processes, policies, and controls; support audit and SOX requirements
• Support treasury system enhancements, testing, integrations, and implementation as a bridge between Treasury, Accounting and IS
• Contribute to treasury transformation initiatives, including operating model development and data-driven improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
• 5+ years in Treasury Accounting, Financial Accounting, Controlling, or Treasury Operations in a multinational environment
• Strong month-end closing experience with reconciliations and discrepancy investigation
• Solid knowledge of treasury products and their accounting treatment (loans, FX forwards/swaps); exposure to cash pools, investments, guarantees is a plus
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and ERP systems; Kyriba and SAP are advantageous
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative mindset
• Interest or experience in process automation, data analytics or AI-enabled solutions
• Fluent English; other languages a plus
• ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification is a strong plus
