Trucking Dispatcher (m/f/d) – Mainz-Mombach

We operate a container terminal on the Middle Rhine and maintain regular train and ship connections between the ARA seaports, the Rhine‑Main area and the Moselle‑Saar region. With a large, modern fleet of trucks we handle pre‑carriage and onward carriage and can react at short notice to increasing capacity requirements on our main routes. As an IATA‑certified operator, our air freight department handles particularly urgent orders. Our automotive logistics division is a long‑standing, reliable partner for many large automobile manufacturers and leasing fleet operators.

To strengthen our trucking team at our Mainz‑Mombach branch, we are looking to hire a dedicated Trucking Dispatcher. The role involves managing and controlling our vehicle fleet (tarpaulin & frame, container) in collaboration with fleet management.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch national and international transports • Plan routes and distribution campaigns, including special trips • Purchase and sell loads, including freight exchanges • Negotiate prices and handle complaints • Ensure efficient logistics operations across all transport modes

Qualifications

• Completed training as a freight forwarding agent • Several years of professional experience in a comparable position • Proactive, responsible, resilient and flexible with a target‑oriented mindset • Innovative thinking, sociability and an open approach to conflict • Good knowledge of written and spoken English • Confident MS Office skills
