UI Product Designer (m/w/d)

Accountable is a fintech/taxtech focused on helping the self‑employed to automate their accounting and taxes with a simple mobile and web app. We are 60 people spread over offices in Berlin and Brussels as well as remote locations throughout Europe. We aim to create a product which is incredibly easy and fun to use, requiring no knowledge of tax or accounting. We’re growing at a rate of 100% per year, and our ambition is to become the European leader in our market.

Tasks

We’re looking for an amazing Product Designer to join our team. You’ll be the creative force behind our product’s user experience, working with our awesome designer, product owners and engineering team. Your day to day might include:

• Bringing concepts & ideas to life through beautiful, intuitive designs
• Being the guardian of our design system - keeping it fresh, consistent, and awesome
• Crafting pixel‑perfect designs that make developers smile

Requirements

You’ll fit right in if:

• You’ve been rocking the product design world for 4+ years
• Your portfolio makes people’s jaws drop.
• You’re highly proficient in Figma.
• You speak fluent English
• You thrive in the “move fast and make things beautiful” environment
• You enjoy playing an active part of a development squad & want to work closely alongside product owners
• Bonus points if you can speak a bit of developer (HTML, CSS, JS)
• Bonus points 2 if you are familiar with motion design tools such as After Effects, Jitter, Rive…
