Be part of a movement to change how Europe pays. The European Payments Initiative (EPI) aims to modernize payments and deliver a simple, secure experience across borders with the Wero digital wallet. Supported by major banks and European acquirers, EPI is building an easy, instant and transparent payment system for the greater good.
With the help of our designers, you will define and analyze end‑to‑end user research activities to support member experience team . This includes planning and running usability studies , coordinating with the project manager after go‑lives, and ensuring that user insights directly feed implementation improvements .
Always with the help of our designers, you will design research studies , prepare test materials , manage participant recruitment and quality , and oversee unmoderated testing in UserTesting . You’ll monitor tests as they run, adjust when needed, and ensure smooth logistics from setup to completion.
A key part of the role is analyzing results , reviewing recordings , identifying usability issues , capturing evidence, and turning findings into clear, actionable insights . You’ll produce concise reports, maintain a research log, and create materials for both internal and member‑facing sessions. Your analysis should always focus on the impact.
Collaboration is central: you’ll work closely with Design, Product, Marketing, and other teams to align on research priorities, translate insights into recommendations, and help strengthen user‑centred decision making across the organization.
You’ll also contribute to quality and governance : maintaining consistent testing templates, ensuring data quality, managing UserTesting administration, and keeping a simple playbook so the research process can be replicated by others.
You’ll join the Member Experience team as one of two Student Workers based in Germany , working closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and other key stakeholders. You’ll collaborate hand‑in‑hand with our designers, who will support you in planning, running, and analyzing user research activities, as well as with project managers post go‑live to ensure we continuously learn from every release.
Working up to 20 hours per week (the maximum legally permitted for student workers in Germany) , you’ll help strengthen user‑centred decision‑making across the organization, ensuring that member feedback remains at the heart of what we build.
