Key Responsibilities

• Enhance User Experience: Design and improve the UX of Aceve’s products, ensuring they are user‑friendly, intuitive, and aligned with business goals.
• Conduct User Research: Plan and execute research studies to understand user needs, analyze data, and present insights to stakeholders.
• Prototype and Test Designs: Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs to validate concepts and gather user feedback.
• Establish and Maintain Design Standards: Contribute to the Aceve Design System, ensuring consistency, scalability, and best practices in UI/UX.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align design solutions with user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
• Advocate for UX and Product Thinking: Promote UX best practices and product thinking within the company through presentations, workshops, and mentorship.
• Document and Present Work: Create UX documentation, design guidelines, and supporting materials for internal teams.
• Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Keep track of emerging UX and product design methodologies, tools, and technologies to continuously improve processes and solutions.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Strong expertise in UX design principles, product design methodologies, and interaction design.
• Solid understanding of user research techniques, usability testing, and user psychology.
• Experience with wireframing, prototyping, and design tools (e.g., Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch).
• Ability to translate user insights and business requirements into effective design solutions.
• Experience working with design systems, information architecture, and accessibility standards.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front‑end development principles is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile or cross‑functional product development environments.
• Fluent in German (at least C1 – speaking) & English (speaking and writing).
