UXUI Designer (18-Month Leased Labor) – Intelligent Cockpit

In this role you design user experiences for an AI-powered in-car cockpit, shaping how drivers interact with digital interfaces and voice features. You will work within the Automotive Engineering Lab to explore AI UX trends, craft flows and UI concepts, and deliver prototypes and demos. The work blends user-centered design with vehicle HMI challenges, product innovation, and cross-functional collaboration. • Define UXUI opportunities in AI-enabled in-car HMI from user, tech, and competitive perspectives
• Develop high-level and detailed user flows, wireframes, UI prototypes, and storytelling demos/videos
• Create implementable user experiences by translating technical frameworks into usable interfaces
• Deliver creative design outputs individually or with a small team and present to stakeholders

• Automotive HMI design or consumer product UI design experience
• Experience with AI interface or voice interface design preferred
• Portfolio showing UX/UI work on real products or pre-development programs
• Proficiency with UXUI tools (Figma) and video prototyping tools (AE) and interactive demo tools (ProtoPie, PowerPoint)
• 3D visualization skills a plus
• Experience with interactive demos and user testing preferred
• Experience with generative AI tools for design creation or process preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Fluent English; Mandarin proficiency and interpretation ability a plus
