V‑Wave Clinical Consultant – Deutschland (d/w/m)

Job Category: Professional. Job Sub Function: Clinical Sales – Surgeons (Commission). Job Function: MedTech Sales.

Locations: Aachen, Berlin, Bonn, Bremen, Cologne, Dortmund, Frankfurt am Main, Göttingen, Hamburg, Hannover, Heidelberg, Kassel, Stuttgart (all within Germany).

Full‑time position. Company car provided. National travel (minimum 75%) is required.

What you will do

  • Provide hands‑on procedural support in the catheter lab, including scrubbing in and working directly in the sterile field during V‑Wave device implantations.
  • Act as the clinical expert on site during commercial cases, supporting physicians with device preparation, handling, and real‑time procedural guidance.
  • Build trusted relationships with catheter‑lab staff, interventional cardiologists, and heart‑failure teams to ensure seamless case execution.
  • Respond rapidly and calmly to procedural challenges, demonstrating composure and clinical expertise in high‑pressure environments.
  • Ensure all clinical activities are fully aligned with current Instructions for Use (IFU) and applicable safety standards.
  • Support the sales team during customer visits and sales calls by bringing credible clinical insight.
  • Help identify and develop new customer relationships by serving as a trusted clinical partner to physicians and hospital staff.
  • Contribute to account development by understanding customer needs and translating them into clinical and commercial opportunities.
  • Represent V‑Wave professionally, enthusiastically, and with deep product knowledge at customer‑facing events, conferences, and training sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across clinical, commercial, and medical affairs functions, sharing clinical learnings and best practices.
  • Support onboarding of new team members with clinical knowledge and procedural experience where needed.
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Clinical background is mandatory: registered nurse, cath‑lab technician, intensive‑care nurse, medical engineer with OR/cath‑lab experience, or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience in a catheter lab, ICU, CCU, cardiac surgery, or interventional cardiology environment.
  • Comfortable and confident working in the sterile field – knowledge of protocols and the ability to remain functional under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships easily with physicians, nurses, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Highly motivated self‑starter who takes ownership and does not wait to be told what to do.
  • Native fluency in German (daily interaction with German‑speaking physicians, teams, and staff).
  • Professional proficiency in English required for internal communication and documentation.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Germany (minimum 75%).

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience or genuine interest in a commercial/sales environment, understanding how clinical credibility and business development interrelate.
  • Previous exposure to structural heart, heart‑failure, or interatrial shunting procedures.
  • Experience with cardiac imaging (echocardiography or fluoroscopy).
  • Background in a MedTech or medical‑device company in a field‑based role.

Benefits & Compensation

Base pay range: €66,500.00 – €107,065.00. Additional benefits include an annual bonus, vacation days, parental leave (minimum 12weeks), bereavement and caregiver leave, well‑being reimbursement, and various insurance plans. Participation in service‑anniversary programs and recognition awards may apply per location and company policy.
