Venture Capital Associate / Investment Manager (m/f/d)

The Role

We are looking for a full‑time Associate / Investment Manager to join our team. This role is designed for a visionary investor keen to shape the future of impact‑driven companies. You will play a crucial role in expanding Ananda’s influence within the impact investing ecosystem by identifying, evaluating, and nurturing high‑potential startups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification and evaluation of new investment opportunities in groundbreaking deep‑tech impact sectors.
• Oversee the entire investment cycle from initial discovery through deal closure, including due diligence, structuring, and securing investment committee approval.
• Engage with and support our portfolio companies, potentially taking on board or observer roles.
• Cultivate a robust network of stakeholders, including at industry events across Europe, enhancing Ananda’s presence and impact.

What you bring

• 3-6 years of experience in investment roles such as angel investing or Venture Capital.
• An educational background in Engineering, Technology, or Science is strongly preferred.
• A proven track record in early‑stage deal‑making with a keen eye for evaluating company potential through financial and strategic lenses.
• A well‑established network within the European startup and investment community.
• Fluent English and exceptional communication skills, with the flexibility to travel across Europe.
