Vice President, Corporate Transactions, Regional Counsel

Serve as a key member of the Legal Leadership Team and provide legal counsel across the organization's Management Services Organization (MSO) operations.
Support enterprise growth initiatives, health system partnerships, clinical education, and corporate development.
Lead complex healthcare contracting and transaction activity.
Advise senior executives on legal and regulatory risk.
Shape scalable operational and governance frameworks that support a high-growth, physician-led organization.
Serve as a lead legal advisor for complex health system and strategic partnership arrangements across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care, and other clinical service lines.
Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated professional services agreements and related healthcare transactions.
Provide proactive counsel regarding healthcare laws, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and physician reimbursement matters.
Partner with executive leadership on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic corporate transactions.

Requirements

Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible legal experience in healthcare law, corporate transactions, or related in-house counsel roles supporting hospitals, physician groups, health systems, management services organizations, or other complex healthcare organizations.
Demonstrated experience negotiating complex provider and health system agreements and managing sophisticated healthcare transactions.
Experience advising senior executives and cross-functional business leaders in a strategic advisory capacity preferred.
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active license and good standing with at least one state bar association.
Strong understanding of healthcare business models, physician services arrangements, and MSO structures.
