Job Overview

Join our Finance Department (DFIN) covering SG Frankfurt and SG Effekten. The role involves supervising accounting, controlling, regulatory reporting, German tax matters, and analysis impacting financial performance and risks.

Responsibilities

• Regular controlling updates on Net Banking Income & costs of the branch
• Support regulatory reporting, analyze changes and check deliverable quality
• Involved in German Tax Law compliance, controlling travel expenses, and following accounting flows between fiscal authorities and the branch
• Assist in preparing the German Balance Sheet
• Follow inter‑entity billings and current accounts, perform reconciliations
• Prepare documents for review meetings (Business/Audit)
• Participate in various projects

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling from a business school or university
• Preferably with internship experience in accounting; knowledge of regulatory reporting and corporate taxes is a plus

Language Skills

• Fluency in English is mandatory; additional European language advantageous

Technical, Operational & Soft Skills

• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Reliable and a team player
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Agile and motivated

Assignment Details

Location: Frankfurt. Length: 12 months. Start date: As soon as possible, with at least 3 months between application and start. Eligibility: under 28, from EU/EEA (VIE program). VIE specific contract under Business France’s criteria.
