Visual Merchandiser

Overview

Packs EMEA (Eastpak, JanSport, and Kipling) is seeking a Visual Merchandiser based in Frankfurt or Munich to join our Visual Merchandising team. This role focuses on ensuring strong and consistent brand presentation across all distribution channels by delivering high‑quality visual merchandising execution and enhancing the overall consumer experience in the GAS region.

Responsibilities

• Execute best‑in‑class visual merchandising across the GAS region.
• Lead rollout of window displays, pop‑ups, product launches, and in‑store activations, coordinating timelines and ensuring flawless implementation.
• Conduct regular store visits and VM audits, identifying improvement areas and taking corrective actions.
• Partner with Sales and Retail teams to optimize product presentation and support commercial performance.
• Coach and train store teams on VM standards and best practices to build strong ownership at the store level.
• Support store openings, relocations, and refits, ensuring operational excellence and brand alignment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment.
• Strong ability to execute VM strategies hands‑on and manage priorities across multiple locations.
• Confidence in working with cross‑functional teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of retail dynamics and consumer experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality in‑store execution.
• Effective communication and coaching skills to support and develop store teams.
• High level of adaptability, ownership, and problem‑solving.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% across the GAS region and occasionally to other EMEA locations.
• A diploma or professional training in Visual Merchandising or a related field is considered a plus, but practical experience and execution capability are valued.
