An international manufacturing group with €4.5bn in revenue is seeking an exceptional Group Controller to sharpen forecasting, strengthen performance and build a lean, commercially focused controlling function as it transitions to a standalone business.

Reporting directly to the CFO and partnering with the CEO, you will turn complex data into clear, actionable insight across a global network of plants, regions and product lines.

Your mandate

• Own the numbers: lead group controlling, FP&A, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive performance: identify business drivers, challenge assumptions and uncover opportunities to improve profitability.
• Transform reporting: align regional results with global product-line performance.
• Strengthen the team: develop central and regional controlling capabilities.
• Influence decisions: act as a trusted financial partner to senior leadership and operations.

Your background

An established controlling or FP&A leader from a complex, global manufacturing business, ideally with €1.5bn+ revenue. You bring analytical depth, commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge at executive level, alongside a track record of improving forecasting, reporting and team performance. Private equity or carve-out experience is advantageous.
