Position Overview

Join our university in the Faculty of Economics: W2‑Professorship Business Psychology, with a specialization in Human Resources and Organizational Psychology at the next possible date – campus Lemgo – permanent position, full‑time. Responsibilities

• Teach Bachelor’s and, prospectively, Master’s courses in Business Psychology, covering applied psychology, Human Resources and Organizational Psychology (e.g., Human Resources and Organizational Psychology, Digital Change in Organizations, Human Resource Management in Digital Contexts) and basic psychological and methodological courses (e.g., Differential and Personality Psychology, Diagnostics and Evaluation).
• Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s students in seminar papers and theses.
• Conduct courses in German as well as in English, with up to 25% of teaching provided as digital teaching to enable cross‑location lectures.
• Promote interdisciplinary study formats, including practical student projects.
• Conduct research in human resources and organizational psychology, ideally related to digital transformation or innovative, sustainable ways of doing business; pursue third‑party funding and collaborate with stakeholders from business, politics, administration and other research institutions.
• Engage in innovative communication formats that encourage dialogue between science and society.
• Shape the teaching and research profile of the Faculty of Economics as a committed, creative and team‑oriented individual.
• Participate in internal committee work and contribute to the expansion of cooperation relationships with domestic and foreign universities.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Psychology, Business Psychology or a closely related discipline.
• Successfully completed doctorate.
• At least five years of professional experience, of which at least three years were gained outside the university sector in workplace human resources, organizational development, human resource management, leadership or change management.
• Conducted research and published scientifically beyond the doctorate, within the framework of a professorship, a junior professorship or a completed habilitation.
• University teaching experience that strengthens students’ professional competence.
• Good knowledge of empirical research methods and a strong interest in both teaching and research.
